Spanish Now

Hi! I’m Gaby, the founder of Spanish Now.

I’m originally from Venezuela and I graduated as a mechanical engineer. At the beginning of my career, I was working in a factory in a position related to my degree. However, because of the difficult economic and political situation in my country, I had to start thinking of new ways to generate income and create new opportunities for myself.

That’s when I trained as a Spanish teacher and started teaching Spanish just a few hours a week at a large language-learning company. Through this experience, I not only learned a lot about Spanish grammar and how to teach effectively, but I also discovered how interesting and meaningful it is to connect with people from different cultures and share everything I love about Latin America with them.

Over time, this became my full-time career. I started teaching independently and eventually created my own company, Spanish Now, along with a complete, updated, and more effective learning program that helps students grow from their very first vocabulary words to complex structures and understanding fast-paced conversations.

Spanish Now is not just another Spanish course. I like to think of it as learning with a native friend who truly understands the language — someone you can have fun conversations with and practice without fear, while also having the knowledge and experience to answer your questions, correct your mistakes, and help you improve with confidence.

Today, Spanish Now is made up of four Latina teachers who share the same passion for teaching Spanish and the belief that learning a new language should feel fun and relaxed. That’s why our classes are filled with interesting conversations, real-life exercises, and engaging lessons that motivate our students to keep learning and improving every day.
